The RDU airport playground has been high on Grant's list of places he's been wanting to visit, so to celebrate on his actual birthday, we met up with some of our friends for playtime, plane watching, and lunch at the airport cafe.
The playground has a mini-runway for kids to pretend like they are airplanes. The observation tower is on the left and the real runway is in the background.
The airport cafe overlooks the private jet area, so the kids get to see tons of planes.
All of the boys were fascinated.
