But when I spelled his name up at the top of the magnet board...
He went and got his stool...
Because he apparently decided that was where he should be working with magnets, too.

Football Sunday, Post-Christmas
Here's how Grant looks when he's vegging out. Blanket? Check. Mr. T? Check. Giant Giraffe? Check. Two fingers in mouth? Check. Good, then we're ready for some football (or Yo Gabba Gabba).
And now thanks to Kyle's new Christmas sweats, both of my boys coordinate:
Grant's working on his pointing since he can't touch the tree:
Apparently Grant thinks septuplets would be better than just one baby in the stroller:

Merry Christmas!
Trying to wait patiently for Kyle to get the cars out:
Taking the Sing-a-ma-jigs for a stroll:
Seeing the new train table (which we set up after he went to bed the night before):

Then he took a break to read with Daddy (but couldn't resist giving me the camera smile)...

A Family Tradition
Grant isn't the only one in the family whose first car was a Cozy Coupe! Flash back to almost three decades ago...
Anyone recognize this smile? (Although you won't catch Grant doing it on camera, since his camera smiles are all teeth!)
Yep, that's me at 2 years old, taking my puppies for a ride. When I got out the camera to take the picture of Grant below, he had two Mr. T's (his little giraffe friend) lined up in the back of his CC for a perfect replication of the picture above, but as is usually the case with him, I wasn't quick enough to catch the shot. Gotta be quick!

Go Cowboys!
Thanks to a special delivery from Texas, I've finally managed to improve Grant's Sunday attire (although we're clearly still a house divided), and just in time for the Cowboys victory!
Grant preferred story time with some of his stuffed animals in his big boy bed instead of watching football. Here's an action shot of him giving the glo-worm some water. No one wants a dehydrated glo-worm.

Makin' Cookies
Not so sure about the cookie making business at first...
Can you guess which one Grant made?

BC+C Holiday Afternoon
We had the Boys Club + Charlie over to our house for a little holiday fun, and Sarah managed to catch all of the kids on camera not once, but twice! Here's one from the box that I originally envisioned our kids peacefully crafting around...
Since the box was crushed, we crafted on the ottoman, which in hindsight was a better crafting location anyways...
And here they all are together on the couch...

Merry Car-mas!
Aunt Hat delivered an early Christmas present for Grant...

His first car!!

It's been a great hit with him and all of his buddies. Not only is it good for rides, but it's also great for snack time, reading, and sharing (he spent a lot of time trying to convince Charlie it was a two seater so she would sit in it with him).

Crafty Christmas
We were feeling crafty (again!) on Tuesday and decided to make a Christmas countdown chalkboard with thumb print reindeer. Here's the work in progress...

Once Grant's role was done, he had snacks with his buddy Dylan while Mommy painted away in the background and Sarah took some cute pictures...

After snack time, we let the boys pretend paint on their old plaques...
