Happy Halloween!
This year I decided to make our Halloween costumes, and we're celebrating one of Grant's favorite toys.
Boys Club + Charlie Halloween Party
Lauren & Kevin hosted their annual Halloween party this year. Here we are in our family-themed glory...
We attempted to get all of the kids together for a picture, but this was the closest we came (alas, no Luke)...
And here are a couple of sweet potato moments from the party...

Halloween Ghost Footprints
Felting Soap
Our first craft was making felted soap, which is a bar of soap, wrapped in wool, wetted & scrubbed vigourously until the wool 'felts' to the soap or itself or something like that. Not sure exactly, but it looked like a fun, clean project for the boys. We started with our wool-wrapped soap tied into pantyhose...
Then we dipped and scrubbed...Grant still loves having his picture taken...
And here's the finished product...we can now use these in the bath for an easy lather or something like that. Still not sure, but we had fun making it.
Craft Playdate Warmup
On Thursday, we hosted a very crafty playdate that's going to take up three blog posts just to begin to cover it. The boys played around in the backyard while we did some prep work.
Dylan and Grant discovered a pot of mud and had a blast with it...Then they brought their muddy selves over to our clean water and had more fun with Carter & Curtis...
Once we refreshed the water, the fun continued...
