It's Show Time!

I took the boys to see their first movie in a theater at the Lumina (which hosts a summer kids' series, so it's only a couple dollars for the kids, parents are free, and popcorn is a dollar...win, win, win).

We saw one of the boys' favorite movies, Madagascar 3:

That popcorn is the whole reason we made it through the movie.  I had to get a second box for Hayes.  And no, my kids don't actually glow in the dark--that's just an awesome effect my phone's camera likes to deploy in the dark.  Try not to be jealous.

Parents' Morning Out

I had to teach for Hayes' Parents' Morning Out, so Grant came along as my "teacher's helper" since he's out of school for the summer...

Headed Home

After a great trip, we headed back to the airport where the boys enjoyed a quick tram ride around the airport before boarding our plane to head home...

And the biggest miracle of the whole trip: Hayes fell asleep on the plane!

Saturday fun

The boys and I built Monsters with Migi before heading over to Summer's for her big first birthday party...

All 3 cousins!  Next time, I'll make sure I get more pictures of them together!

Birdwatching

One of our many summer bucket list activities was birdwatching...
 

So we bought this bird food called "Suet for Woodpeckers" or something like that for a couple dollars at Lowes...

...and bam, next day: Woodpeckers!
