Shufflin' Shufflin'

So far, this is the closest I've gotten to a walking picture...it's more of a series of pictures where Hayes was shuffling around and couldn't decide whether he wanted me to have the hat or he wanted to drink his water. 

We have another walker!

No pictures yet, but after taking a tentative couple steps yesterday, Hayes shuffled his way through about four steps today at the mall play area.  He was too tired by the time we got home to perform for the camera, so maybe we'll have something to show tomorrow. (But I've got to mark this day so I'll get it right in the baby book!)

Grant has a new favorite activity.  This went on for well over an hour, and afterwards he was clean, his dinosaurs were clean, and the house was still clean....Mommy has a new favorite activity, too.

Pinterest Plane

I let Grant pick a project to make off of Pinterest (from your crafty kids board, Allison!) and he chose this plane.  After thanking my lucky stars that he chose a project we could actually do, we got out the paint, popsicle sticks, clothes pins, & glue gun, and went to work:

Eleven Months, Part 2

After refueling Hayes (with his favorite food: a do-it-myself-meal-in-a-bag), I thought I had a brilliant idea and decided to try one more eleven month photo shoot.  Hayes loves playing in our office doors, so I anticipated getting some magical pictures of him looking charming while the blocks remained untouched.  You can see my "charming" results below, but at least the blocks did go untouched!  :)

Finally, something that keeps all four of my boys completely entertained! (My dad got this for us last year, but until now, we've only flown it when both boys were asleep.)

First Fire

We decided Grant was finally able to handle a fire, so after Hayes went to bed, we had a fire and movie night.  Grant loved warming his toes by the fire while watching Lion King.
