Probably more coincidence than first word, but we took Grant to feed ducks at the Duke Gardens after the 'rodeo,' and he kept pointing at them and saying "duh." He loved the ducks, so we'll take him to see more later this week, and if he does it again, then maybe we'll count this as his first word, but if he points at them and says "muh," then we'll know we've got to wait a while longer.

The ducks were quite friendly, although we decide to leave once the cheerios ran low and they had us surrounded & started quacking in what sounded like the start of some sort of duck feeding frenzy...
Grant enjoyed cooling down on the chairs at the Duke Garden Center...
