More egg hunting!

Our third egg hunt was at a friend's Easter party.  Due to all the rain, she relocated it to her church so the kids could have a dry hunt inside.

Hayes hunted this egg down all by himself!

First Egg Dye Adventure

Decided it was time to let Grant try dying some eggs.  He tried his best...

Hayes enjoyed watching the production while having a snack:

And our finished product is shown below.  Yes, we had to ditch the clothes after an unfortunate spill, but you can see Grant loves his eggs, so it was worth it.

Here's Hayes' new trick (he can get up and down all by himself.  Nothing is safe.):

The Mustache Montage

If I can figure out how to get the Picasa photo collager to let me zoom, I might change this up a bit, but for now, here's the mustache montage!

Awwwwwwwe NUTS :(

So this one maybe falls into the category of too much information to share on the WWW, but I can't think of why, except that it's sort of medical and that seems weird to share, but it's big news (and I still had my camera with me after all the non-stop partying), so here's the picture.  Know what this is?

It's Hayes proving that he's allergic to peanuts.  Boo!
Twenty percent of kids outgrow it, so we're hoping to be in that lucky group!

First Egg Hunt of 2012

We do egg hunts like we do parties.  Lots and Lots.  Our library was having a Cascaron Hunt (cascarons are eggs filled with confetti to smash on head of a friend, yourself...or your mother), so we joined in the fun.  I'm sure saying this will come back to haunt me, but so far, Three is an awesome age!  Here is Grant happily modeling the bunny ears we made:

A first for us!! Story time and my Grant is sitting quietly and intently listening to the story!  This happened not once, not twice, but for THREE stories!

Perhaps he was worried that if he didn't pay attention, he'd miss out on the eggs...

Showing off his catch:

He enjoyed smashing eggs on my head...
And Hayes enjoyed watching Grant smash the eggs on his head:

Celebration #5, the Grand Finale: Stache Bash!

Our grand finale was a 'Stache Bash birthday party at The Little Gym.  Although the mustaches didn't last long (except for Carter, who rocked his the ENTIRE time, through cupcakes and everything), more kids were willing to at least try them on than I expected, so stay tuned for a mustache montage one of these days!

Closest we came to a group shot:

I mustached anything with a face for this party:

Hayes' First Haircut

Hayes was getting a bit mullet-y, so we took a break from all of the birthday celebrating to carry on the tradition of Aunt Hat giving the first hair cut.  Lucky for us, Hat & Hayes color coordinated to make for a very cute photo op!

Lookin' Good!!
